The Universe

The Universe is everything - all the stars, galaxies, atoms, molecules, dark matter, light and even all the vacuum between them!

Because of this, scientists never really talk about things "outside" the Universe because that does not really make sense (although it is a popular idea in Science Fiction!)

However, sometimes it can be useful for scientist to imagine different Universes in order to help us to understand the real one better.
