The Spinning Earth


As the Earth spins around each day, we see the Sun and stars appear to Rise and Set.

Using this page, you can see how this happens all over the world at different times of the year by watching our special Movies.

  1. Select the Time of Year you are interested in.
  2. Choose a Movie Size.
  3. Click on one of the cameras on the map.
